As promised, the middle names list…

Yesterday I provided what I think is a perfect list of names for the new year,  I’m hoping to inspire atleast one person to move away from Emma and Aiden(the top names for boys and girls last year) and on over to some equally nice but much more original and fresh names.  (But if your child is named Emma or Aiden just know that I think these names are indeed nice names and know several Emma’s IRL who are simply sweet and perfect in every way!)

The lagniappe-list of middles:

Heartleigh(Blaire would go with this one)

Lucia(pronounced L-oo-CHEE-uh, Josie would go with this one)

Monroe(Paisley and Finley would go with this one)

Cherisse(Lilah would go with this one)

For a boy I would give a family name as the middle name, but if you don’t want to or don’t have any you like for whatever reason you could take dad’s name and add son to the end (example Thomason).    If you don’t like that then here are some middles to get you going:

Hollis(with Cline or Henry)

Lenox(with Jasper)

Adler(with Henry)

Anson(with Miller)

Augustus(with Evander)

Some of these are more formal but they all are unique and your child wouldn’t be swimming in the sea of sameness but at the same time would not be stuck with something to out there, either.
