Small magazine and the Toy Society

The cover of their spring edition, hope they don't mind!

If you don’t know about small magazine and are a parent who likes artsy magazines or just someone who likes artsy magazines then check it out.  It’s free to get online and it will come right into your email-box every few months, quarterly I think.

The little kids are always impeccably dressed and the photos are always creative and chic.  The products are stuff you will probably want but won’t be able to afford, if you are anything like me, but if you are creative they might spur your creativity into making something cool.

That moves me onto the Toy Society.  This is an idea that I read about here:

And the idea is simple.  You make a toy, like you sew one or you carve one or something, whatever you do, and then you put it into a weather proof bag and leave it somewhere with a note telling the lucky-finder that it is indeed made just for them!  I mean how cool is that?  I think it’s smart to put it somewhere where children would be…if you wanted a child to find it, but how magical?!
