{Some spring-garden inspiration}

This is one angle of the raised potager style garden my husband designed for a new property his boss bought.

His boss decided that the center should be an apple tree.

This would be an ambitious project for the at-home gardener but if you plan on staying at the property for a long time then it might be worth it to put in the effort.  I think it loks so beautiful!

Any big changes you are planning for your garden?

Leah from Our Yellow house says she is thinking of doing a medicinal herb garden which I think it really cool.

We are going to do a lettuce patch which we didn’t do last year and should be very useful!

    I’d almost give my eye teeth for that much stone. Raised beds are just about the only way to go on our place. We’ve had to amend, amend and amend some more to even call what we have soil. We’ve got multiplying onions, two kinds of potatoes, turnips and mustards growing now. I’m ready to put some tomato seed in starter pots. I love, love, love eating from our own garden.
