Oooh, ooh try this! (or what to do if it’s still heater weather where you are)

I am pretty much over the snow. But the snow doesn’t care about that. The snow just keeps coming. Over. And over. And tomorrow.
So the heater is on and my body is slowly shriveling up and turning into a raisin from the inside out.
Here was my solution today:
- one pot boiling water
- 1 TBs each, dried:
- lavender
- peppermint
- rose
- lemon balm
- chamomile
- ginger
As soon as the herbs hit the boiling water they bloomed and the scent swirled up into my nose allowing me a very pleasant experience and a temporary escape from the Evil Lurking Dryness…..
Love,
Ruby

I don’t think it would need to be cold to enjoy that! Sounds like a cuppa heaven!

Mmm…sounds wonderful. We often boil water and throw in stuff from the spice drawer, or orange peels, but for some reason I hadn’t thought of the herbs I’d dried for tea; I have most of the things you mentioned. Guess what’s going on the stove tomorrow?
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog today!
